Why clean your bins?

Cleaning your trash can is a nasty but necessary cleaning essential in your home. Sanitizing your bins regularly will keep you and your family safe.

01

Eliminate Germs/Odors

Throwing old food and diapers away can infect your trash can with germs such as, Salmonella, Listeria, Ecoli, and other unhealthy bacteria thrive in trash cans. This can also bring unpleasant odors that can be hard to get rid of.

02

Keep wildlife/insects away from your trash!

Animals and insects are attracted to the smell and remnants of old trash. Taking your trash outside of your home and finding a hungry critter in your trash bin is no picnic! Oh...don't forget about the maggots that can develop as well!

03

Curb Appeal

Ok..Ok we all get it. No one is going to detail your trash can. But it is still a part of curb appeal and it should be clean on the inside and outside. After all...they have plenty of real estate on the curb!

Our Process

MD Clean Bins takes an aggressive approach to cleaning you trash bins.  First start off with a gentle rinse followed by a  spray on eco friendly soap treatment. After letting that sit for a period of time, the trash bin is pressure washed to a sparkling clean. If requested, a small amount of bleach solution can also be applied to maximize sanitation. This process will be repeated depending on how dirty the bin is. Lastly, a natural and eco friendly deodorizer will be applied to keep your bin fresh from little critters and smelling great! Trash cans are best cleaned on trash day after pick up.
